afterschoolspecial
Since their conception in 2007, afterschoolspecial has been on the rise in the Hip-Hop/Alternative Rock scene. Influenced by artists such as Linkin Park and Beastie Boys, and with their highly entertaining and adrenaline pumping performances they've been able to accomplish much in a short amount of time. Their success on stage mirrors their driven work ethic off stage, striving to collaborate with like-minded artists in the community. They have partnerships with Osiris Shoes, One Condom Campaign, and Future Rock Stars of America, and two 2009 San Diego Music Award Nominations. 2010 CelebrAsian is proud to have afterschoolspecial as headliners for the festival. Timothy Delaghetto aka Traphik
This popular YouTube personality is Mr. Sextuple Threat: Rapper/actor/writer/designer/comedian/singer; early beginnings of a star drama student in school plays and musicals, Tim also discovered a love for hip-hop, battling freestyles and quickly gained a reputation of being the best rapper in his hometown. From his skits and songs to his comedic bits and advice on relationships, Tim's goal is to shatter stereotypes and be a positive representative for not only the hip-hop community but for all of the Asian community. CelebrAsian Entertainment proudly presents Timothy Delaghetto as this year's main master of ceremony and our special guest judge for 2010's Next SensAsian.

CelebrAsian Entertainment is excited to bring newcomer Sam Hart to 2010's lineup. A Bay Area native, Sam Hart has became well known on YouTube for blending his passions for music and video games to write a love song that received over 4 million views. He also writes songs about things like cats, superheroes, and lost love.

For over half a decade, Gimikk has been rockin' out Des Moines and the surrounding area, earning their reputation as "The Best Party Band in Des Moines". With quality originals from their 2008 self released album, "Kindred Puppet" and an upcoming, soon to be released, 2010 album Gimikk is guaranteed not to disappoint. LARRY BERENGUEL
Not at all a stranger to CelebrAsian, Larry is Des Moines' very own Asian musical celebrity. His musical roots range from American folk, Southern Rock, Latin, R&B, Reggae, Catholic church music, traditional Tagalog, to his own unique sound. You may spot him jamming out with anybody willing at various venues hosting Open Mic Nights. Be sure to catch Larry's performance during the fashion show.
